Our Story
Bare Addiction was born through the desire to create effective, safe and natural based skincare for the problems tweens, teens and twenty-somethings face every day.
The market is saturated with Teenage Skincare products that are either filled with harsh and synthetic ingredients or are fully organic and natural which failed to show results. So we decided to find the answer to one question... Can we achieve the best of both world’s, natural yet effective?

Whilst Bare Addiction products are as natural as possible, organic or natural isn't the main deciding vote on whether to use an ingredient. Instead, we focus on the active ingredients that work against core young skin concerns to create Teenage Skincare that achieve gentle, safe and effective results.

We know that we have a responsibility to make environmentally-conscious choices. From the design of our products to our packaging, our goal is to create a sustainable brand that has a big impact on your skin, but not on the environment.
Packaging is one of the key sustainability issues in the world of beauty & cosmetics. At Bare Addiction, we use post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in our packaging and are committed to making this 100% of our packaging in the near future. We also use bio-plastic for our larger tube products. When it comes to paper, cardboard and packaging filling, we use 100% recycled paper only.
Taking a responsible approach
Here's how we're taking responsibility for our brand and packaging at Bare Addiction.
2020
- All cardboard is fully recyclable and made from 100% recycled cardboard.
- E-commerce packaging using plant based glue and water based ink.
- All bottles are made from 100% PCR.
- All tubes are made from 30% PCR Airless Pumps are made from 10% PCR.
2021
- Sheet mask development incorporating biodegradable sheet masks and fully recyclable pouches.
- Research and development commenced on increasing airless pumps and tubes to 100% PCR by 2024.
- Development activities on harnessing Ocean Waste Plastic in our packaging.
2024
Our 100/100 Goal
- To have all plastic packaging 100% recyclable and made from 100% recycled materials.
